  1. −1

    First shift soon: checklist

    • Take an identity document with you.
    • Ask the Adecco coordinator: what time and where to come, and whether you need your own work shoes and clothes.
    • Check your route: transport, travel time, a backup plan. If there is free transport — find out the stop and the time.
    • Water, a snack, a charged phone.
    • Save the Adecco coordinator’s contact — contact them for all organisational matters.
    • And get some sleep 🙂
  2. 1

    First week

    • Feeling tired in the first days is normal: your body is getting used to the effort. Drink water, look after your back and feet.
    • Don’t hesitate to ask the trainer and colleagues — better to ask twice than make a mistake.
    • Write down your shifts and hours — useful for checking your pay.
    • Questions about schedule, transport or documents — ask the Adecco coordinator.
  3. 2

    Documents and bank

    • Whether you need a PESEL number and how to get it — ask the Adecco coordinator (it is issued by the urząd gminy).
    • You usually need a bank account for your salary. You provide the account number yourself — where Adecco tells you. You don’t need to send it to me.
    • Make sure you have a copy of your contract and understand its terms.
    • Something unclear — ask the coordinator.
  4. 4

    First month

    • When you get your payslip (pasek wynagrodzeń) — compare the hours with your own notes.
    • Found a difference — calmly contact the Adecco coordinator.
    • Using public transport — check whether a monthly ticket is cheaper.
    • If you get sick — inform the coordinator and get sick leave (L4) from a doctor.
  5. 8

    Two months

    • You’ve settled in — great! Discuss questions about your schedule, shift or conditions with the Adecco coordinator.
    • Rest matters: plan your days off and don’t overwork yourself.
    • For all work matters, your main contact is the Adecco coordinator.
  6. 12

    Three months

    • Three months done — congratulations! 🎉
    • Ask the Adecco coordinator what’s next with your contract.
    • If the job doesn’t suit you — that’s normal, discuss the options with Adecco.
    • This is the last tip — thank you for being with us! The date of your first working day has been deleted from the bot.
